It's Sweater August?

Fall is, without-a-doubt, the best season of the year so I'm always trying to push sweaters and Pumpkin Spice Latte's earlier and earlier. However, today, I needed that sweater! That's right, Chicago is a balmy 73 and I couldn't be happier.

Last night I happily swung open all of our windows, make a cup of hot Earl Grey tea and started simmering one of our favorite meals. Chili. After talking with one of my good friends, over at Sparkles & Crafts, I realized my chili is kinda...unique. What makes your chili unique? I love the mix between sweet and spicy.

My Chili Recipe

1 pound of Ground Turkey
2 cans of Kidney Beans
3 cans of Chili Beans
1 can of Tomato Sauce
1 can of Tomato Paste
1 Packet of Chili Spices

1 squeeze of Ketchup
1 squeeze of Chocolate Syrup
1 pour of fresh brewed coffee
3-4 shakes of Cumin
3-4 shakes of Chili Powder
3-4 shakes of Red Pepper

Brown meat, then mix together everything else. Let simmer for around 2 hours. Top with Cheese.
