Cheese, Wine & Dessert Party

I always thought hosting parties after marriage was something I would hit the ground running with. Welp, that is 100% false. I haven't hosted one party. I am proud to say, after 10 months of marriage I'm hosting my first party this coming Friday, a cheese, wine & dessert party! Is it bad to admit, I think I'm more excited to use all my super cute wedding gifts than the actual party?

I'm going to be honest, I don't have the first clue about hosting a party. I also gave myself 7 days to throw everything together as well. All I have to say is thank God for the internet and Pinterest. My knowledge of cheese is slim to none, as I usually only buy cheddar or mozzarella. I think I'm just going to hit up the local Trader Joe's and pick up whatever catches my eye. If anyone has any other helpful thoughts, all ideas are welcomed.

I'm feeling a bit crafty, and found these ideas for wine glass markers and cheese displays on Pinterest. Which one is your favorite?

  1. Adorable!! I like to get cheese ends for parties - because it's a random variety to display, so it looks like you tried really hard...when really you spent $2 on whatever the deli had leftover.

Goat, brie and bleu are other classics to have around for parties like this. Just keep in mind not all of your guests may be able to indulge in them so keep some 'standard' cheese options around if possible (cheddar, monterey jack, etc)

    Can't wait!

  2. Elated to know about your cheese, wine and dessert party. Last month, I arranged a cocktail cum dinner party with my friends at one of lovely venues in Los Angeles. Hired a renowned caterer and they provided best services to make this event successful.

Anyways, should you have any recommendations or tips for new blog owners please share. I know this is off subject nevertheless I simply needed to ask. Thanks! gmail login
